Official FSU Bowl-game tour packages offer exceptional value

Fans thinking about attending the Florida State Seminoles 22nd consecutive Bowl appearance may want to know more about what's included in the Orange Bowl-game travel tours offered by Dodds Athletic Tours.

"These official Florida State University Orange Bowl-game travel tours are loaded with hundreds of dollars worth of extras, giving our football fans wonderful opportunities to spend time together and share the Seminole spirit in Miami," said Lee Hinkle, FSU's vice president for University Relations. "The packages guarantee that our fans will be able to attend a host of first-rate Bowl events, all for one convenient price."

Seminole fans who select the Gold Tour (air and land) will travel to Miami with fellow Seminoles on charter flights that offer amenities well beyond regular commercial flights. It's first-class food and drink service for everyone. The unique SeminoleVision video entertainment will make the flight time pass quickly. And when the flight lands, Gold Tour passengers will find more first-class service, as their luggage is whisked off to a deluxe motor coach ready to take them to the hotel.

Like the Gold Tour, the Garnet Tour (land only) is also an exceptional value, and here's some of what both tour packages provide in Miami.

For starters, join Florida State University President T.K. Wetherell and other university officials at FSU's opening Orange Bowl reception. In addition to sharing a good time with fellow Seminole fans, you'll enjoy a wide selection of both light and hearty hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. This event is valued at $55 per person.

Next, fans will ring in the New Year Seminole-style at an exclusive FSU New Year's Eve gala hosted by university dignitaries and featuring dinner, dancing and party favors. This is truly an upscale event, with a value of $160 per person.

Do the war chant and sing the fight song at the Seminole Pep Rally, which features the FSU Marching Chiefs, Seminole cheerleaders and FSU dignitaries. Valued at $45 per person, this event is intended to boost Seminole spirit.

On game day, sit back and enjoy the ride as Seminole fans are treated to first-class motor coach travel to all pre-game and post-game activities -- with a special police escort for travel to the Orange Bowl. Also, enjoy a deluxe hot buffet luncheon before the game.

The package includes three nights at the Sheraton Bal Harbour Beach Resort.

Seminole fans on both tours will enjoy an exclusive check-in area at the hotel, complete with refreshments and snacks and friendly staff waiting to give them their room keys.

Deluxe continental breakfasts at the hotel are also included.

Finally, fans will keep their Bowl-game memories fresh for years to come with a handsome Orange Bowl souvenir and name tag.
