Seminole fans can plan their FedEx Orange Bowl trip now

With the smiles still fresh on their faces from the thrilling victory over the Florida Gators, Seminole fans are undoubtedly looking ahead to the team's Jan. 1 appearance in the FedEx Orange Bowl at Pro Player Stadium.

With the help of Dodds Athletic Tours in Champaign, Ill., Seminole fans can sign up now for the official FSU Orange Bowl-game travel tour.

"There's not a lot of time between now and the first of January for our fans to plan such a trip," said Florida State University President T.K. Wetherell. "With Christmas and New Year's fast approaching, fans should enjoy the convenience of being able to plan their Seminole bowl-game trip now and have one less thing to worry about over the holidays."

Dodds has information and application forms for the Orange Bowl tour package available at its Web site, <www.doddsathletictours.com/fsu>. Fans can choose deluxe accommodation packages for one or more people. The packages include round trip air fare to Miami, motor coach transfer from the airport to the hotel, three nights at the Sheraton Bal Harbour Beach Resort, tickets to a variety of Seminole pregame events and other extras. Bowl tickets are not included in any of the travel packages. Tickets, however, are available through the Seminole Athletics' Web site, <www.seminoles.com>. Tickets are also available through the FSU athletics ticket office, (850) 644-1830, or toll free at (888) FSU-NOLE (378-6653).
