What can rodents teach us about romance? FSU psychologist studies 'first love'
FSU neuroscience professor Zuoxin Wang studies bonding between male and female prairie voles to find similarities between humans' and rodents' brain structures. Males prairie voles lose all interest in other females once they find a mate, and common brain structures between prairie voles and humans may help explain why first loves can be the greatest, with memories that endure long after the end of the relationship.
